Description
ESG Analysis & Reporting
Responsibility for, and improving, energy, water, waste and social data collection, quality checking and subsequent analysis.
Working with Business Intelligence Manager, ensuring updates to data management system, generating reports for both internal stakeholder companies and the individual assets.
Co-ordinating external audit of Annual ESG report; aiming for ISO14001 certification.
Supporting the Sustainability Manager in delivering key stakeholder reports: Quarterly ESG reports, Net Zero carbon action plans and GRESB submissions.
Supporting on regulatory reporting requirements; TCFD, CSRD and EU Taxonomy
Review the sustainability of materials chosen for renovations of all projects in the portfolio.Asset Engagement and Action Planning
Be a subject matter expert, educating operational teams on sustainability, sharing best practice, generating ideas across ESG (sustainable procurement, reducing waste, energy saving, community volunteering and customer engagement).
Support the Sustainability Manager and each assets' operation team with BREEAM assessments and Green Key accreditations (Including progress tracking, document origination and management as well as amending existing operation processes)
Support the Sustainability Manager in finalising energy audits at all properties, including documentation and progress tracking.Communication and Organisation
Facilitate regular communication, and training where necessary, with teams in each asset, to ensure progress on sustainability action plans and accurate reporting.
Assist in delivering periodic training to the Investor team on ESG matters.
Writing original content for ESG storyboarding to be communicated both internally and externally.
Responsible for creating, maintaining, reviewing and filing individual property reports and asset management filing structure.
Identify, support and manage processes that can be improved to increase scaleability and efficiency.
Working alongside other Real Estate departments (Investment, Asset Management, Project/Development Management, Finance).Profile
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management
Strong communication skills
Lateral thinking/problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities/deadlines
Experience and understanding of sustainability and compliance reporting and in processing energy, water or waste data will be highly regarded
Highly proficient in spoken and written English. Additional European languages are desirable (French / Spanish ideally).
Ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner
Strong collegiate attitude and passion to provide assistance where needed.
Occasional European travel to properties.Education/Experience:
BA/BS Bachelor's degree or MA/MS/MEng Master's degree in a relevant field would be advantageous
1 (max 2) year experience in sustainability related data or BREEAM focused role
Position requires knowledge of sustainability reporting and industry benchmarking (GHG Protocol, GRESB, BREEAM, CRREM etc.)
General interest in field of Sustainable Buildings desirable.Job Offer
